My STRATEGY for getting concerts

1. Create project(s)

2. Research venues and contacts. Contacts first, internet second.

3. Establish a connection. It can be a mutual friend, social media or actually going to the venue.

4. Send proposal. Customize it for the venue/festival/event.

5. Take action (call/meet)

6. Follow up (call or email)

7. Negotiate. Everything that's negotiable: fee travel arrangements, conditions, programme, etc.

8. Close the deal. Fix a date or sign a contract.

9. Repeat.
